Effect of K_ir blocker on K⁺-induced relaxation in rat mesenteric arteries enhanced by Cl⁻ channel blockers. Arteries were incubated in solution containing 1.2 mmol/L of K⁺ in the presence of 30 μmol/L BaCl₂. Arteries were then contracted by 1 μmol/L phenylephrine followed by changing the K⁺ level in bathing solution from 1.2 mmol/L to 11.2 mmol/L to induce relaxation.
