(C) Decreased Dicer mRNA and protein in GC tissue specimens was identified by real time RT-PCR and western blot analysis (Dicer mRNA 6.56±1.466 in GC vs. 8.34±1.348 in corresponding nonneoplastic epithelia tissues, P=0.024; Dicer protein 7.74±1.165 in GC vs. 9.07±1.158 in corresponding nonneoplastic epithelia tissues, P=0.038). Results were indicated as the mean±SD of three separate experiments.
