Reagents and conditions: (i) Boc-isoleucine, DCC in DCM: 1 h at 0 °C; LPV, DMAP in DCM: 15 min at RT and mixture stirred for 48 h at RT. (ii) 60% TFA in DCM: 1 h at 0 °C.
