(b,c) Comparison of the a.c.-ISHE signals for Pt/Ni80Fe20, Au/Ni80Fe20, Cu/Ni80Fe20 and Al/Ni80Fe20 measured at 8 GHz. (b) Shows data for samples with in-plane excitation while (c) shows the corresponding measurements with out-of-plane excitation. All NM and FM layers have a thickness of 10 nm. Only for NM=Cu the NM layer is 20 nm.
