Immunostaining of hemocytin in the smeared hemolymph from Bombyx mori larvae. Hemocytes were smeared on glass slides soon after puncture of the larvae, fixed, and stained with anti-hemocytin antiserum in combination with Alexa Fluor 488- labeled secondary antiserum and DAPI as described in the Materials and Methods section.
