Both tacrolimus (TAC; 100 nM) and rapamycin (RAPA, 100 nM) induced mRNA for Nox4, transgelin, and tropomyosin-1 after three days, although with a slightly different pattern. Cyclosporine A (CSA; 1 µM) had no effect on mRNA levels. All values normalized to untreated control. (*) denotes significance from untreated cells p≤0,05.
