Mediation analyses revealed that BLA perfusion levels mediate the relationship between BLA-mPFC connectivity and anxiety (A: Model #1). In contrast, BLA-mPFC connectivity did not mediate the relationship between BLA perfusion levels and anxiety (B: Model #2).
