Protein expression of FoxO1a, FoxO3a, p-Akt and 14-3-3 in the dorso-lateral prostate of TRAMP mice and male non-transgenic littermates. (A) Cytosolic and nuclear extracts from prostate were processed and electrophorsed by SDS-PAGE followed by Western blotting. Cytoplasmic and nuclear levels of FoxO1a was higher in TRAMP mice, whereas decreased FoxO3a nuclear levels were observed in TRAMP mice at 20 and 28 weeks of age, compared to non-transgenic mice.
