The outcome of a hypothetical experiential effect—a participant with LFnu = 0.33 (LF ms2 = 500, HF ms2 = 1000) increases to LFnu = 0.5, which is defined by any point on the line of identity (i.e., LF ms2 = HF ms2). The arrows and operations on the line designate where values may be smaller, equal to, or greater for the corresponding spectral regions (LF, low frequency; HF, high frequency; and TP, total power).
