Total and mean (±SE) number of Anopheles gambiae caught in a screen house using a MM-X traps without odour, baited with the Mbita odour blend (MB) augmented with carbon dioxide produced by fermentation of either 250 g refined sugar, 250 g or 500 g molasses by using dry yeast

N is the number of experimental nights, n is total number of mosquitoes caught whereas SE is the standard error of the mean catch per night. A total of 200 female An. gambiae were released per night. Mean catches in the same column with different superscript letters differ significantly at P <0.05 (Generalized Linear Models).
