Experiments are numbered in increasing order of R2 value. “Bio” indicates the biological neuron corresponding to each experiment. The synaptic conductance from model neuron to biological neuron gMB is given in mS, whereas the synaptic conductance from biological to model neuron gBM is given in µS/cm2. PeakB and PeakM give the maximum phase resetting for biological and model neurons respectively. Since the model and experimental neurons have different conductance conventions, the peaks are a better indicator of relative coupling strength. The synaptic time constant τ was the same for both neurons and is given in ms. PB and PM are the uncoupled periods in ms for the biological and model neurons, respectively. ISIB and ISIM are the average network ISIs in ms for the biological and model neurons, respectively, calculated from the experimental data during the course of coupling episode.
