Quantification of molecular interactions of Galf derivatives with the promastigote membrane by STDD-nuclear magnetic resonance. Interaction results obtained for compound 1 (A), compound 2 (B), compound 3(C), compound 5(D), and compound 6 (E) are shown. The terminal protons of the alkyl chain yielded the highest STD effect in each spectrum and thus was set to 100%, and the relative intensities of other molecular structures were determined. Data are representative of two independent experiments.
