Mice were maintained on a high-fat or control diet and separate groups of mice were monitored until the age of 3–4, 7–8, 11–12, or 15–16 months when epididymal fat pad weight (g) was assessed. Data are mean ± SEM, n = 6–12/group. ap < 0.001 versus control fed mice of same genotype and bp < 0.01, cp < 0.001 versus non-Tg mice on the same diet.
