Adult population sizes during two similar simulations of the stochastic model. Annual peaks coincide with breeding seasons. The host population is exposed to the fungus during the second year. (a) Tadpoles do not suffer from infection and enable host survival, albeit at a reduced population size. (b) Tadpoles suffer from infection; all other parameters are identical to (a).
