Effects of ATG treatment on protein concentrations, cell numbers, and cytokine or chemokine expression in BAL fluids from LPS/hyperoxia-exposed mice. Adult mice received a single intraperitoneal injection of saline or 25 mg/kg ATG at 12 h after intratracheal LPS administration and were then exposed to hyperoxia (>95%O2) for 72 h as described in the Materials and Methods section. (A) Cell numbers were determined using trypan blue exclusion, and protein concentrations were measured by Bradford assay. (B) Levels of KC, MIP-2, IL-6, TNFα, and RAGE were measured in BAL by ELISA.
