Stable depletion of RECQL1 accumulates telomere dysfunction-induced foci. Stable depletion of RECQL1 was performed in U2OS cells using lentiviral shRNA. Both RECQL1 KD and scrambled cells were analyzed for accumulation of 53BP1 foci (A), RPA32 (B) and phospho-RPA (C) at telomere regions (TRF1 sites) by immunofluorescence. Images were shown to the left with the corresponding co-localization channels, generated by Volocity 5.0 (Improvision, PerkinElmer), and the representative plots were shown to the right.
