Comparison of nucleosomal DNA and free DNA in ID2 ubiquitination. (A) Nucleosomes assembled on plasmid DNA, or (B) in the context of core particles, were compared to free DNA in ID2 ubiquitination. The reaction mixtures were analyzed by fluorescent staining of proteins after 6 h of incubation (top) or by western blotting after 1.5 h of incubation (bottom).
