Enhanced osteogenic potential correlates with enhanced expression of osteogenic transcription factors. MSCs from three donors were pooled together, induced to undergo osteogenic differentiation, and simultaneously exposed to vehicle or daidzein analog 2c (1 μM) at every medium change. After 14 days, cells were harvested, mRNA was isolated, and cDNA was synthesized from each sample.
