Spectra 1–4 correspond to the voxels in the image with the elliptical k-space mask on in (i) and off in (ii). The peak at 0 ppm corresponds to PE and the peak at 2 ppm corresponds to PI. (b) Shows the effect of decoupling on the PE resonance in the gel phantom. The thicker line shows the PE resonance with decoupling and the thinner line is without decoupling.
