Human serum interaction leads to change in the morphology of curcumin nanoformulations. Curcumin nanoformulations (1 mg/mL) were incubated with and without human serum albumin (100 µg) for 2 hrs and after centrifugation and washing with water, curcumin NPs were viewed under a transmission electron microscopy. CD: β-cyclodextrin; CUR: curcumin; PLGA, poly(lactide-co-glycolide); MNP: magnetic NP; Nanogel: poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide); Dendrimer: polyaminoamide (4 generation) based curcumin NPs. Filament formation was observed only in dendrimer curcumin formulation (bar arrows represent filaments).
