In all cases, results for intermediate levels of SNA (Csymp = 2) are shown. Assumed levels of oxygen demand were 1 at rest, and 1.91, 4.64, and 8.28 (all in units of cm3O2 cm−3 min−1) for the three levels of contraction (DC2.5, DC10, and DC20%).
