The arrows indicate the data points corresponding to the displacement loops of Fig. 1a. The inset shows optical micrographs of the pristine and degraded capacitor. The black and red framed micrographs show the top electrode of the pristine and fatigued capacitor, respectively. In the fatigued capacitor the top electrode shows bumps and may have been delaminated.
