MSCs migrate towards the endocannabinoid anandamide. TGF-β (5 ng/mL; 48 hours) induced a significant increase in the migration of MSCs as assessed by the Boyden chamber cell migration assay compared to the number of MSCs that migrated to control media (Con; *p < 0.05, 1-way ANOVA and Newman-Keuls, n = 3). Migration of MSCs was also induced by anandamide (AEA; 1 μM, 48 hours) compared to control (Con; *p < 0.05, 1-way ANOVA and Newman-Keuls, n = 3).
