Suppression of paclitaxel‐induced mitotic arrest by arsenic trioxide (As₂O₃) is p53‐dependent. (a) Isogenic HCT116 (p53^+/+) and HCT116 (p53^−/–) cells were treated with various concentrations of As(III) for 24 h. Cell survival was measured using the MTT assay. Data were summarized from three independent experiments. (b) Paired HCT116 cells were cultured in the presence or absence of As(III) (5 µm) and/or paclitaxel (10 nm) for 24 h. Representative cell images were shown. (c) Paired HCT116 cells were cultured in the presence or absence of As(III) (5 µm) and/or paclitaxel (10 nm) for 24 h.
