A) Exponentially growing Shigella were infected with Sf6 phage and at the designated times after infection, aliquots of each reaction were treated with chloroform and plated at 30 °C on WT Shigella. The number of phage per cell was calculated as the titer of phage at each time point divided by the total number of cells in the reaction. Each growth curve was repeated in triplicate, and representative plots are shown. B) Representative plots of reversible Sf6 adsorption rates to WT cells.
