Three weeks after germination at 20 ºC under LD conditions, control spring wheat (cv Manitou) plants (treated with 0.1% tween 20 solution only: Ctrl) were grown under LD conditions at 20 ºC for two weeks. Treated plants were sprayed with 150 μM MeJA dissolved in 0.1% tween solution every day for 2 weeks under the same growth conditions. Total RNA was extracted from aerial parts and analysed by qRT-PCR. The 18S TaRNA was used as load control. Data represent the mean ± SEM from three biological replicates.
