FigureĀ 3.

Shoot length (mm) of seven alfalfa cultivars (cultivar fall dormancy score given in parentheses) in late autumn (5 May 2012; 42 days after defoliation). Plants were grown outdoors in pots at Burnie, TAS, Australia. Error bars represent the standard errors of the means (n = 4). Cultivars grouped into fall dormant (FD), non-fall dormant (NFD) and highly non-fall dormant (HNFD) groups exhibited no significant difference in shoot length.
