Cell cycle analyses by flow cytometry. Plot of percentage of cells in each phase of the cell cycle. A2780 and A2780/CP70 cells were treated with their IC₅₀ cisplatin (CP) (A2780, 4 μM; CP70, 40 μM) or CP plus 20 μM sodium arsenite at 37 or 39°C for 1 h. Cells were harvested at 0 and 36 h after treatment. DNA content was analyzed by flow cytometry after propidium iodide staining. Data are the means ± SD of samples from two independent experiments. Each experiment was performed in duplicate dishes. Statistical analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA and Student's t-test. p < 0.05, * = compared with G2/M partners.
