CMC and CMG are two confidence measures which show what percentages of subjects agreed on the selected shape in cases of colored and gray scale shapes. Symbols Inline graphic, Inline graphic, and Inline graphic represent shapes S1, S2, and S3 in Figure 2. Shape selection strategy has changed with timbre (see statistics in text). Chance level is 33%. Sounds of the first five instruments were pre-processed by a Hanning window.
