The activation status of VEGFR2 was tested by western blot analysis and probed with anti–phosphorylated VEGFR2 antibody. The same blots were stripped and reprobed with β-actin antibody to verify equal protein loading. B, γ-tocotrienol inhibited the activation of AKT/mTOR signaling pathway in endothelial cells. Proteins from different treatments were probed with phospho-specific antibodies. The same blots were stripped and reprobed with antibody against total protein to verify equal protein loading. The results shown are representative of two independent experiments.
