Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) promotes autophagic flux in cardiomyocytes. Cardiomyocytes were transfected with tandem-LC3 construct (GFP-mRFP-LC3) for 24 h, exposed to 150 μM H2O2 for 1, 3, 6 or 12 h and photographed using confocal microscopy. Representative images are shown in the upper panel. Both the GFP and mRFP dots were counted, and the statistical analyses are shown in the bottom panel. The data were obtained from 3 independent experiments, and 10 cells were scored in each experiment. Scale bar=20 μM.
