The quantity and quality of RNA isolated from (A) PBMCs and (B) serum using three RNA extraction kits (Macherey-Nagel, Qiagen, Norgen) were evaluated by Nanodrop, Agilent nano 6000 (PBMCs only) and Agilent small RNA chips.
