Table 2.

Advantages of Described Technique

  • 1.

All-suture anchors do not risk intra-articular damage caused by loose metal or composite anchors.

  • 2.

The anchor design allows cortical fixation in the thin acetabular floor, which may be too thin to hold a standard composite or metal anchor used in tunnels.

  • 3.

Tunnels can be drilled by use of curved guides, through the joint or through the femoral tunnel, which greatly enhances access in the hip joint to the appropriate location for the graft.

  • 4.

Double-loaded anchors and the use of multiple anchors increase the size of the footprint of the graft in the acetabular floor and improve the security of the graft.
