The left images present the last nodes (red) that still belong to the foreground after the min-cut, and therefore they define the segmented prostate central gland contour. In the images of the middle column, the segmentation result has been superimposed with the manual mask (green) from the slice-by-slice expert segmentation. Finally, the rightmost images present a closed surface form the graph's nodes, which can be used to generate a solid mask of the segmentation outcome for further processing.
