TLR4-mediated NF-κB activation by AILb-A. The stable transfectants derived from Ba/F3 (5 × 10⁵/well) were stimulated with AILb-A (0.1, 1, or 10 μg/ml), PGN (2 μg/ml), or LPS (1 μg/ml) at 37°C for 5 h in the presence (A and B) or absence (C and D) of 10% FBS. After the stimulation, cells were harvested and lysed, and then luciferase activity was measured.
