The NTP suppresses the ConA-induced proliferative response. Spleen cells from five CON rats and five NTP-treated rats were treated with the indicated concentration of ConA for 3 days. Cell proliferation was determined as described in Materials and Methods. The level of [3H]thymidine ([3H]-Tdr) incorporated into cells (103 cpm) is shown.
