Inhibition of GCPII-catalyzed [3H]-NAAG hydrolysis. [3H]-NAAG was incubated with GCPII in the presence and absence of various concentrations of both monomeric and oligomeric Aβ1–40 and Aβ 1–42, as well as the GCPII prototype inhibitors 2-PMPA and 2-MPPA (Materials and Methods).
