(A) In control mice, pancreases showed no apoptotic cells. On day 5 after STZ treatment, a significant increase of apoptotic cells was observed in the islets of STZ mice. Also, t-AUCB treatment reduced apoptotic cells in islets isolated from STZ + t-AUCB group.
