The WST-1 assay results confirmed a concentration dependent cytotoxicity in all six cell lines. At the same concentration (12.5 μg/mL), Z-COTE induced a significant variation in cellular viability on monocytes, while no significant toxicity was detected in the epithelial cells and lymphoblasts. In mouse cell lines, the RAW cells were more sensitive than FE1 cells and LBRM-33 cells (*p < 0.05 vs. FE1 cells; p < 0.05 vs. LBRM cells, n = 6). Similar effects were also observed with human cells ( p < 0.05 vs. MOLT-4, n = 6)
