In parallel with the Western blot studies whose results are shown in shown in Fig. 8, samples were also prepared and evaluated for agnoprotein expression (WT and agnoprotein mutants) by immunocytochemistry using primary antibodies (antiagnoprotein polyclonal antibody [49] and anti-VP1 monoclonal antibody [pAB597]) and secondary antibodies (goat anti-rabbit FITC-conjugated [green] and goat anti-mouse, rhodamine-conjugated [red] antibodies), as described in Materials and Methods.
