An ORF45-RSK2 complex is necessary for activation of the HIV-1 LTR. (A) Western blot analysis of HEK293T cell extracts prepared from cells transfected with either WT or Y707A mutant RSK2. Lysates were prepared from serum-starved cells and analyzed by Western blotting with RSK phosphorylation-specific antibodies to pT359/S363 or pS380, and total RSK. (B) NH1 and NH2 cells were transfected with either WT or Y707A mutant RSK2. At 48 h posttransfection, luciferase levels were determined.
