All three cell types migrated from the ICA to the ischemic hemisphere and were localized predominantly in the cortex and striatum of the infarct boundary zone (IBZ). Arrows represent MAB1281-positive cells. No MAB1281 (HuNu)-positive cells were found in the contralateral hemisphere of any of the three cell groups. Similarly, no MAB1281 staining was seen in the ipsilateral or contralateral hemisphere of PBS rats. Scale bar = 10 μm.
