Result of a multiple linear regression (N = 110) with the logarithm of cerebral infarct volume as dependent variable and all variables listed in Table 3 as initial independent variables, after backward elimination of non-significant associations. The model includes also age, sex and initial NIHSS score as adjustment factors.
