Effects of sulfuretin-induced mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) activation on HO-1 expression (A) and t-BHP-induced cytotoxicity (B) in human liver-derived HepG2 cells. Cells were incubated with 40 μM of sulfuretin for 12 h in the presence or absence of SP600125 (25 μM), SB203580 (20 μM), or PD98059 (10 μM). Then, cells subsequently were exposed to 50 μM of t-BHP for 12 h. Representative blots from three independent experiments with similar results.
