Commissural neurons were counted over 25 somite lengths at 24 hpf.

DRGs were counted over 18 somite lengths at 72 hpf.

The (n) refers to the number of fish with 10–18 ganglia per fish counted. The ganglia generally contained 2–3 cell in the wild type and 1–2 in the mutant, revealing a loss of 1 neuron per ganglia.
