Temporal dynamics of the category sensitivity at the population level are shown. Category sensitivity was calculated using a receiver-operating-characteristic (ROC) analysis (Green and Swets, 1966; Tsunada et al., 2012). Larger ROC values indicate better differentiation between the two categories.
