Results from the Retrieval phase. (A) Target recognition performance (normalized d′ indices) was improved for objects encoded three times compared to those encoded only once. (B) Lure correct rejection (bias-corrected Lure Discrimination Index) was generally hindered by three encoding events compared to a single encoding event. This effect was specific to moderate degrees of mnemonic interference (similarity bins 2 and 3, and marginally in bin 4).
