The subscript numbers in the population name indicate the number of generations exposed to permethrin. For example, SPS2 was the population which was selected by permethrin for two generations.

The location of amino acids are numbered according to the sequence of Vssc from the house fly, Musca domestica (accession nos. AAB47604 and AAB47605).
