As described in Section 2.3, the combined S100 fractions (#40-#46) were replenished with CaCl2 and MgCl2 and loaded onto a concanavalin A column. IEARase activities in 10 µl fractions and proSPH processing by the fractions (1 µl each) were measured as described in Fig. 1 legend.
