Scattergrams indicate three well-established pathophysiological findings in preeclampsia. A and B indicate triglycerides and malondialdehyde concentrations before and 24 h after delivery in women with preeclampsia (PE) or without preeclampsia (Norm). C demonstrates the concentration of s-Flt in women with severe or mild preeclampsia and normal pregnancy. The wide scatter of the findings, and the overlapping of the data from women with and without preeclampsia, is typical of findings with many analytes in preeclampsia.
